With VSL#3 we will be strengthen our Gastroenterology portfolio and are able to provide VSL#3® as a multi-strain bacterial mix product distributed in all markets under the same brand.
The research on VSL#3® started in the late 1990s in Italy at Centro Sperimentale del Latte (CSL) and VSL#3® is currently available in more than 40 countries worldwide.
VSL#3® is registered or classified and marketed worldwide as Food Supplement (with few exceptions, like the US where the product is classified as Medical Food).
VSL#3® is a very high concentrated (at least 450billion per serving throughout its entire shelf-life) bacterial mix of 8 different strains.
